Description

The city of Hilversum aims to transform paved and monofunctional squares and playgrounds into natural areas to play & meet, reducing the rainwater-stress, heatstress, and increasing the biodiversity.

The municipality has asked Space for Play to set up and lead the participation process for a large citysquare Thijsseplein. After the participation they asked me to continue in helping the urban designers with the design of the square, including a wadi, a natural play area, a sporting & calistanics area, an education bio-diverse garden.
